Bison formed in the early half of the 2000's in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

Through a love of drop-tuning, endless feedback, heavy riffing and slow, crushing sound, they carved out a small niche within their local music scene and decimated live audiences with their no-frills, no pretentious noise.

They played their last show in 2009.
